I launched my mothers' foundation, Love, Ma: The Susan Eileen Scott Foundation on Mother’s Day, six months after losing her suddenly during the holiday season of 2017. She passed away one week after Thanksgiving at 67 years old. Our favorite time of year. It was also a time of year that as a kid, I witnessed my mother make miracles happen under the tree and on the table for my two sisters and brother, and so many others. From providing food, shelter, clothing or encouragement, she gave what she could and always with her whole heart.
The foundation's namesake and logo, Love, Ma was created from a card my mom once gave me. She loved being a mother, and was sure to sign off this way on all of her correspondences with her kids. Even when text messaging. Her love and sacrifice was ever present.
Professionally I’m a Producer, Creative Director and Change Agent whose been entrusted to oversee and develop for some of the world’s largest brands in entertainment for over 20 yrs and counting. It feels amazing to finally find an outlet to combine my love of the arts with my life's works in philanthropy, both of which were deeply inspired by my late mother. There is no greater feeling than living a purpose filled life. And I get to inspire and change lives while doing so. Oh what a feeling!
My Production shingle, Undeniable Films, offers services proficient in the development and the sale of scripted and non-scripted television, pitch presentations and strategy, talent development and factual storytelling.
